A wonderful short read that aptly describes an aspiring author's angst over receiving the countless rejection notices! Aaak! We've all been there, and the dejection, hopelessness, and futility that Cassie feels is all too real. She prays for two things: to have her manuscript accepted by a publisher, and to meet the man of her dreams. When it seems she might lose both, God steps in, and works it out in His marvelous way. This is a short, lovely read that takes the reader through the emotional highs and lows of getting published and finding love. I enjoyed following the plot to fruition, and it was also interesting to get a bit of a behind the scences look at the writing and publishing industry... Rating: [4 of 5 Stars]

A fun and fast read that any struggling artist can identify with. Cassie's hopes and fears as an unpublished writer are played out in a realistic and entertaining way. This story is right up the alley for those who like sweet romance, a spiritual message, a fulfilled dream for an aspiring author and a happy ending. All these elements are there, and they all are appealing. The encouragement of not giving up on writing and the quest for acceptance is a worthwhile admonition for all writers. Writing, editing, submitting, suffering countless rejections and happiness of final acceptance is all here. Sprinkled throughout is the sweet romance, and the uncertainty that sometimes carries, rounds out this wonderful story. Larry..
