Preacher Man won the 2010 Epic Award!

Regan Samuels is newly single and doing her best to raise her teenaged son in the city. She gives the adult dating world a go, but finds she'd rather trade in her stiletto heels for fuzzy slippers. Will she ever find love again, and if so, after the disaster of her first marriage, would she know what to do with true love if it ever found her?

Josh Gregory is a pastor who longs for the loving family that his parents never provided. Because he grew up in a broken home, he's always been ultra-careful about the women he dates. Besides, in his profession, a carefree dating relationship is a bit of an oxymoron. When he wins a date with Regan at a Charity Auction, he never expects to fall in love with her. After all, she's not really preacher's wife material.

But God has a different idea.
 
Cover Stories
Last year, we sponsored the Hearts Crossing contest (See the published winning story here). Response to the contest was overwhelming! The premise of Hearts Crossing was to show that authors are so individual that different authors could take the same plot and create completely different stories. Entries proved our assumption was correct...in fact, coming soon, look for Hearts Crossing Ranch, the runner-up entry by Tanya Hanson that was so good, we decided to publish it also--and guess what? It's completely different than the Hearts Crossing contest winning entry!

Along with the provided synopsis in the Hearts Crossing contest, we also created a cover--complete except for the author's name. We received multiple positive emails about the cover being posted, so we've come up with another idea to help spark authors' imaginations: Cover Stories. Cover Stories is not a contest, but rather a tool. As long as a cover is featured on the Cover Stories page, we're accepting submissions for that particular cover. All you have to do is write a story to match the cover...and follow White Rose guidelines for content and submission, of course!

It’s crazy to think a man like Reece would be interested in a woman like her, but why would God allow her to meet him if Reece wasn’t meant for her?

With his singing career in shambles, Reece Flynn relocates to Piney Mountain, North Carolina where he’s assigned a long hitch of community service. Reece is restless, always searching, but no matter what he gets, it’s not enough. He hopes to find some peace and quiet in Piney Mountain, but instead he finds Molly Harmon. Could what he feels be love?
